Onshore Training Partners

Across the UK training for the onshore seafood sector is supported by a range of partnerships and collaborative working.

Seafood Training Academy

Established in 2007 and managed by Seafish since 2013, the Seafood Training Academy is a community of training providers helping to support the UK fish and shellfish industry with their training needs. This includes seafood training networks, training organisations, providers and individual trainers.

Seafood Training Networks

Seafish currently supports Seafood Training Networks covering Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. These networks bring together organisations involved in fish and shellfish training to collaborate and support the provision of a joined up service to seafood employers within each region.

Approved Training Providers and Other Training Centres

Seafish training courses are delivered by approved training providers and there are a range of other courses available from training centres and organisations that provide specialist training services to the seafood industry.
