Working with us
We’re a non-departmental public body that works across the seafood supply chain, from fishing and aquaculture to processing, retail, and foodservice. Our work connects industry, government, and communities to create a sustainable future for seafood in the UK.
Join the team
We’re looking for people with drive, those who embrace innovation, value collaboration, crave variety in the working day and want to make a difference in the industry.
We know what seafood can do for the nation: it’s nutritious, sustainable when managed responsibly, and supports jobs, communities, and food security. Join us, and you’ll be helping to make that impact even greater.

Diversity, inclusion and accessibility
Be yourself with us. Our strength comes from the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that make up the Seafish team. We’re committed to building a workplace where everyone feels welcome, valued, and able to be their best.
Our staff-led Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing groups help shape this work, and we’re proud to partner with Onvero as we continue to learn and improve.
In 2025, Seafish achieved Level 1: Disability Confident Committed status. This is an important step on our journey to becoming a more inclusive employer. We’re committed to accessible recruitment, offering reasonable adjustments, and supporting colleagues who develop a disability or long-term health condition to stay in work and continue contributing their valuable skills.

We’re also focused on ensuring fairness and equality in pay. Our Gender Pay Gap continues to improve and remains below the UK national average. We’re proud of this progress but know there’s always more to do. Our HR team works with colleagues across Seafish to identify opportunities for change and make sure our policies and practices remain fair, transparent, and competitive.
