UK Pavilion at Seafood Expo Global 2024

Date: 23 to 25 April 2024

Location: Hall 2, Stand 2I601, Fira Gran Via, Barcelona

We are partnering with Defra and DBT to host a UK Seafood Pavilion at Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona in 2024.

We are partnering with the UK Government to host another vibrant UK seafood pavilion at the Seafood Expo Global (SEG) in Barcelona, Spain in April 2024.

For the third year in a row, our UK pavilion will return to Seafood Expo Global and in 2024, it will be bigger than ever before!

In partnership with Defra and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) we will be hosting a 264sqm pavilion for UK seafood businesses. That’s 88sqm larger than in 2023!

SEG 2024 will see the UK pavilion return to the EU in hot pursuit of recent successes at trade shows in USA, Japan and China.

About Seafood Expo Global

Seafood Expo Global is the world’s largest dedicated seafood trade show. It will take place from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 April at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona

More than 34,000 seafood professionals attended the show in 2023, with organisers expecting even higher visitor numbers for 2024. The show is a truly global event, attracting seafood companies, buyers, suppliers, and media from across the world.

About the UK seafood pavilion

The UK seafood pavilion will be in the same prime location in Hall 2, at stand 2I601.

The pavilion will have a communal lounge and private meeting room. The lounge is available for all UK seafood businesses to host meetings with existing clients or to forge new business connections. Businesses seeking a quieter space can pre-book time in the private meeting room, subject to availability.

The pavilion will feature a live demonstration kitchen, and we’re delighted to welcome back chef CJ Jackson who will be at the helm in the kitchen, serving up imaginative dishes that showcase some of the UK’s best seafood.

Opportunities for UK seafood businesses

  • Most of the pavilion will be dedicated to exhibition space, where UK seafood exporters have hired branded exhibition booths furnished with tables, chairs, and 24-hour electrical sockets. The exhibition space is now fully allocated.
  • We warmly welcome all UK seafood businesses to use the communal lounge to network, meet clients, and conduct business.
  • Representatives from Seafish, Defra and DBT will be on hand to provide insight and advice to support your trade plans.
  • The private meeting room is available to all UK seafood companies, subject to availability. However, please note that UK pavilion exhibitors will have priority access to the private meeting room. The private meeting room is available to book by contacting Phillip Quirie at phillip.quirie@seafish.co.uk

We are also working with Defra and DBT to host ‘A Taste of the UK’ networking reception on the pavilion during the Expo. Any attending UK seafood businesses interested in attending the reception should contact Phillip Quirie.
