The International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) is an international non-governmental organisation that works towards the establishment of equitable, gender-just, self-reliant and sustainable fisheries, particularly in the small-scale, artisanal sector.

The key focus is on labour to promote safe working conditions for fishworkers (men and women), including a fair return to their labour. For aquaculture workers it is to promote family-based, equitable and sustainable aquaculture practices while challenging socially unjust and environmentally destructive forms of aquaculture.

Significance for seafood businesses:

Seafood-specific support for fishers and aquaculture workers. Useful for awareness as an organisation working to support the industry, and improve governance, safety and welfare within the global seafood industry.
