The UK Department for International Trade (DIT) and Seafish will be hosting a webinar on the Seafood Market in North America.  This is part of a programme of webinars on the seafood sector in different international markets.

North America is a key export destination for seafood from the UK. In 2019, the UK exported 2,354 tonnes of seafood to Canada and 40,173 tonnes to the USA with value of £15.2m and £314m respectively. The top species exported included salmon, trout, cod, mackerel, sardines and Nephrops (langoustines).

This webinar is targeted at new and existing exporters of seafood to North America. It follows a number of recent DIT events with seafood buyers in  the region.  There is a full agenda which includes market data from IBIS World, a presentation from US seafood importer Cleanfish as well as details of how DIT can support businesses wishing to export seafood to the region.
