72% of people who used local search went on to visit a business they found. Local search engine optimisation (SEO) brings huge potential for businesses, but it can be confusing to know where to start. In this workshop we’ll explain what SEO is, how to find out what your customers are already searching for, and how to get started with Google MyBusiness and SEO on your website. We'll also introduce Love Seafood by Seafish marketing tools, to show how you can complement your SEO with great content. 

The webinar will be hosted by our Head of Marketing Greg Smith. It will feature a presentation by Melissa Rynn, Digital Innovations and Insight Director at creative agency John Doe.The presentation will cover:  

  • What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?  
  • How to find what your customers are searching for   
  • How to set up a Google MyBusiness account   
  • The basics of SEO for your website   
  • Free tools to get you started 
  • How Love Seafood assets and tools can support your marketing 

There will also be time for a Q&A discussion after the presentation.

Event content has been developed for independent restaurants in response to challenges faced by the foodservice sector over the past year. Independent fishmongers, retailers or fish and chip shops are also welcome to attend.
