Summary
Seafish responded to the Food Standard Agency's consultation on the Food Hygiene Amendment Regulations 2010. Seafish supported the changes, which were: •To allow clean water to be used to clean fishery products in land based establishments; •The reinstatement of the 10% allowance for samples exceeding 4600 CFU of E. coli in class B shellfish beds; and •The requirement that the approval number reflects the place of production of products of animal origin.
