Freedom of Information

We are bound by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI). Find out how to make an FOI request and how we process requests.

This includes government departments, and as such, it applies to Seafish. This means you may request any information from Seafish, unless this information falls under one of the Act's exemptions. You are entitled to:

  1. Be informed in writing by the Office on whether or not it holds the information specified by your request, and
  2. If that is the case, to have that information communicated to you.

For more information about this, you can access the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or access the Information Commissioner's Office guidance.
