Seafish response to Consultation on the future management of Fishery Orders currently held by the Sea Fisheries Committees in Wales

Summary

The Welsh Assembly Government launched this consultation following the Minister for Rural Affairs' decision to assume responsibility for the management of inshore fisheries in Wales from April 2010. It proposes the amalgamation of the Sea Fisheries Committees with the Welsh Assembly Government fisheries unit.
