Seafish Trade Facilitation Forum

The Seafish Trade Facilitation Forum helps the UK seafood sector navigate trade rules, share insights, and improve market access.

The Seafish Trade Facilitation Forum (STFF) is a platform for supporting the UK seafood sector in navigating trade regulations and opportunities.

It brings together businesses, trade associations, and regulators to address challenges, share insights, and ensure a smooth trading environment for seafood.

This page outlines the Forum’s purpose, scope, membership, and meeting schedule. We also provide access to past meeting agendas and presentation slides as they become available.

Purpose

The STFF aims to ensure a smooth trading environment for UK seafood businesses. It advises members of changes in relevant domestic and international regulations. It also facilitates dialogue between industry and regulators on trade issues affecting the food and drink sector and seafood-specific concerns.

The STFF also connects with the Seafish/British Frozen Food Federation Importers Forum to provide a broad overview of matters relating to imports.

  • UK businesses that are involved in the trade in seafood
  • Trade associations representing industry interests
  • Government departments, agencies and public bodies supporting trade
  • Experts and stakeholders with relevant knowledge or interest in the sector
