Health and Safety Taught Courses

Health & safety training allows businesses to develop a positive culture and safe working environment. We deliver these taught courses at two levels.

Introduction to Health and Safety 

  • This course is suitable for people working in the seafood industry as counter assistants, customer service assistants and fishmongers.
  • It is a short taught course which includes a 30 minute exam.
  • It can be delivered face to face for a single business or remotely by Zoom for open groups.
  • People who pass the exam will receive a Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) and Seafish qualification.
  • The course is approximately £50 per person. This is dependent upon group size etc.

Elementary Health and Safety  

  • This course is suitable for people working as factory supervisors and those supervising fish friers, customer service assistants and fishmongers.
  • It is a one-day taught course which includes a 30 minute exam.
  • It can be delivered face to face for a single business or remotely by Zoom for open groups.
  • People who pass the exam will receive a Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) and Seafish qualification.
  • The course is £100 per person. This is dependent upon group size etc.
