RFVS Public Consultation

A 60-day public consultation on the Responsible Fishing Vessel Standard (RFVS) draft standard criteria ran from Thursday 15 August to Monday 14 October 2019.

Feedback received during the Public Consultation has been incorporated into the Draft Standard Criteria put forward to the Seafish and GSA Boards for final approval.

The public consultation was undertaken to maintain engagement and invite stakeholders that may be directly or indirectly affected by the Standard to submit additional feedback for consideration. A synopsis of comments received will be released with the release of the RFVS.

Informal feedback on the RFVS continues to be accepted via email. Interested parties can use this form or send a summary email to rfs@seafish.co.uk.
