Helping the UK seafood sector be ready for Brexit

After Brexit, the UK’s trading arrangements with the EU will change. To ensure that trade continues as seamlessly as possible, it is vital the UK seafood industry takes steps to prepare for Brexit.

Together with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Marine Management Organisation we're running a number of Brexit readiness workshops aimed at businesses who export or process seafood, as well as local authorities. 

  • 4 September – Plymouth
  • 5 September – Newlyn
  • 11 September – Grimsby
  • 12 September – Scarborough
  • 26 September – Fleetwood
  • 4 October – London

Through presentations, practical demonstrations and Q&A sessions, the workshops will cover topics including customs procedures; food labelling requirements; Export Health certificates; catch certificates and EU workers.
