Traders supporting the event, organised by Seafish, the public body that supports the £10bn UK seafood industry, include Chapmans, Alfred Enderby, Icelandic Seachill, and Youngs, who will all showcase their products.
The evening Seafood Fayre is used as an opportunity to network by delegates, who include seafood buyers, retailers, food processors, food service professionals, members of the catching sector, academics, and government officials.
Broadcaster Nigel Barden will host the evening and interview some of the local traders before inviting delegates to tuck into the seafood feast. He is best known for his chef slot on BBC Radio 2 with Simon Mayo and as Chairman of Judges for the Great Taste Awards.
Nigel who specialises in promoting British ingredients and artisan producers is delighted to be at this year's Summit. He said: "Seafood is widely recognised as one of the healthiest, most sustainable proteins and incredibly tasty.
The Seafood Fayre is a highlight of the Summit, and I'm really looking forward to meeting the food producers and learning more about their products and businesses."

The two-day summit opens on Wednesday 17th October with an afternoon export seminar discussing regulation and development, followed by the Seafood Fayre showcasing seafood from around the UK. The conference takes place the following day on Thursday 18th October and features industry experts talking about the issues affecting the industry including Brexit and microplastics.
