Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Edinburgh or remote (Scotland only)
Contract: 12 month fixed term, full time
We’re looking for a self-motivated Credit Controller, to ensure effective Credit Control at Seafish. You'll work with our Finance and Levy teams to develop appropriate processes for the collection of debtors.
To succeed in this role you’ll be organised, and have a high attention to detail, with excellent communication and relationship building skills. This crucial role is responsible for ensuring the timely processing and appropriation of our levy and grant income, allowing us to serve our industry better.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Credit Control – chasing overdue levy submissions, overdue levy payments, keeping a record of levy payer status and working collaboratively with our levy team to ensure timely visits
- Maintenance of our levy systems and records with levy submissions and cash received
- Reconciliation of levy accounts and input to banking reconciliation process
This is a full-time role, and we are looking for someone to join us for a fixed period of 12 months. The successful candidate can be based remotely or in our Edinburgh office. With an attractive benefits package and flexible working environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our team.
