Seafish Executive Team

We are led by an Executive team with our CEO having overall accountability for Seafish. There are four directorates delivering our work.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Colin was appointed as Chief Executive in January 2026, and is proud to lead the Seafish organisation towards achieving its strategic goal of helping the UK’s seafood industries thrive.

 

Colin was previously head of international fisheries and seafood trade in DEFRA from 2018 to 2025, and before that, Director of Government Affairs at the UK Green Investment Bank and at Macquarie Group in EMEA from 2015 to 2018.   He also worked as a civil servant in Edinburgh and London for the Scottish and UK Governments between 2002 and 2015 on a wide variety of constitutional, fisheries, and social policy matters, including a 2 year stint as Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Scotland in the run-up to the Scottish independence referendum. 

Linsey Neill
Linsey Neill
Human Resources Director

An experienced HR professional, Linsey joined Seafish in 2013 as HR Manager having gained over 12 years' experience working across both public and private sectors.

 

Previous to Seafish, Linsey led a start-up marine technology company into the Times 100 Best Small Companies shortlist and was a twice awarded Great Place to Work winner, receiving an accolade for achievements in mental health promotion in the workplace.

 

Since joining Seafish, Linsey has successfully embedded a high performance culture along with the Seafish Values and steadily improved employee engagement. Linsey is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.

Kenny McIntosh
Kenny McIntosh
Finance Director

Kenny is an experienced Finance Director who joined Seafish in 2021. He has a track record in senior finance roles in aquaculture, energy, fast-moving tech, support services and sports businesses. He has experience working with large corporates, investor backed start-ups, international development, mergers and acquisitions and rapid growth initiatives.


With an international finance career in regions as diverse as Kazakhstan and New York, he returned to his home country of Scotland in 2005. He spent around10 years as Finance Director of the UK division of a global aquaculture business before moving into the CFO role with an energy retailer start-up in 2018.
