Support across the UK
We support seafood businesses across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales through local expertise, practical guidance, and signposting to relevant funding opportunities. Our Industry Engagement Managers are based around the UK so they can work closely with businesses, understand local needs and connect people with the right support at the right time.
Local support where you are
The seafood industry operates differently in each nation, and our team reflects that diversity. Industry Engagement Managers in each home nation bring specialist skills tailored to local priorities. They can help with:
- Answering questions and connecting businesses to Seafish services
- Bringing people together for collaborative projects
- Sharing knowledge through webinars, events and local networks
- Promoting local initiatives and supporting regional needs
- Signposting businesses to training, regulatory support and technical advice
In some areas, Local Advisory Committees help guide our work by identifying priorities and advising on the needs of the local seafood community. These are made up of representatives from across the seafood supply chain.

Funding from Seafish
We provide funding for a range of onshore and seagoing training courses to help the workforce develop skills and stay safe.
Nation-specific funding
