Non-Executive Chair of the Seafish Board

The Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) works to secure a sustainable and profitable future for the UK seafood industry by promoting and educating consumers, protecting the industry's reputation and enhancing its viability and raising standards throughout the sea food supply chain. The UK fisheries administrations are now seeking four individuals to join the Board.

Non-Executive Chair

£18,000 p.a. based on 30 days per year

The Non-Executive Chair will lead the Board, set the overall strategic operational direction of Seafish, ensuring good governance to allow Seafish to carry out its work efficiently, effectively and economically, holding the Executive to account.

The Chair must be independent of the sea fish and seafood industry and have no financial or commercial interests that affect them in their role on the Board.
