The Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) works to secure a sustainable and profitable future for the UK seafood industry by promoting and educating consumers, protecting the industry's reputation and enhancing its viability and raising standards throughout the sea food supply chain. The UK fisheries administrations are now seeking four individuals to join the Board

Non-Executive Board Members (x3)

£5,670 p.a. based on 18 days per year

The non-executive member of the Seafish board will provide strategic direction and leadership to the organisation, drive performance and hold the Executive to account against strategic and corporate plans; ensure propriety, regularity, economy, efficiency and effectiveness in the operation of Seafish and provide stewardship for the public funds entrusted to the organisation.

We invite applications from individuals with knowledge and expertise of working in either the large scale fisheries sector in Scotland, the small scale fisheries sector or the food business service.
