Some Donegal Catch fillets withdrawn

11 July 2011

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has advised that some packs of Donegal Catch Limited Edition Fish Fillets in a golden breadcrumb contain battered fish fillets instead of breadcrumbed fish fillets. Battered fish fillets contain milk, which is not an ingredient in the breaded fillets, and is not labelled on the packets. The FSA is issuing an allergy alert because of the possible health risk for people who have an allergy or intolerance to milk.
