Seafish responds to parasite control proposals

Seafish has issued a response to Defra following its request for comments on the European Commission's proposals concerning parasites in fishery products. While Seafish welcomed the increased flexibility of the new proposed parasite inactivation processes, the proposal introduces new, as yet unresolved, issues on labelling, documentation and monitoring of fishing grounds.
