FSA publishes Food Law Practice Guidance

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has published updated Practice Guidance for the Food Law Code of Practice. It takes into account developments in enforcement since the previous version was published in 2006, including updates on:

  • the role of primary authorities
  • guidance on quick frozen food and imported food
  • newly registered establishments
  • 'small quantities'

It also contains revisions to the official forms contained in the guidance and references to legislation, web links and contact details.
