Traceability requirements spelt out

A new European Regulation has been published that provides details of the information required for the purposes of compliance with traceability provisions. Commission Implementing Regulation No 931/2011 lists 8 requirements concerning food consignments of animal origin that have to be made available to the competent authorities on request. The Regulation applies from 1 July 2012.
