New Decision on transshipment at BIPs

The European Commission has published an Implementing Decision that clarifies the minimum and maximum periods that consignments intended for transshipment can be kept at Border Inspection Posts (BIPs). The Decision also clarifies the responsibilities of the person responsible for the consignment, and introduces requirements for goods intended to be transshipped to third countries.
