EU–Japan meeting on the Pacific after Fukushima

Experts will be meeting on 3 October under DG Mare to share information on the marine environment in the Pacific in the wake of the Fukushima nuclear accident. The current monitoring of imports of seafood from the Pacific region will be reassessed in the light of the information.
