Defra announces export plan

Defra, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and industry have announced Driving Export Growth in the Farming, Food and Drink Sector: a plan of action. The plan contains several initiatives aimed at driving export growth in the farming, food and drink sector. They include:
- working to remove trade barriers
- providing export certificate services for agri-food and drink products
- encouraging more SMEs to explore overseas opportunities and supporting those who already export
