Terms of Reference
The working group exists to review, and provide advice on, legislation that may affect the marine environment and fisheries.
Members of the group are largely representative of relevant organisations and are expected to act as conduits between their membership, Sea Fish and other bodies.
Members are expected to advise on the general, and specific sectoral, implications of new and impending legislation as well as initiatives at the pre-legislative stage.
The group should provide advice relevant to the seafood industry, legislators, regulators and Sea Fish.
The group's advice should help to inform strategic and operational decision-making by stakeholders including risk assessments and management options.
