The standards highlight products which have been produced or sourced following certain ethical and social guidelines. Each standard may denote quality with regard to any or all of these four factors: environment, social welfare, food safety, and animal welfare.
Some of these standards are found only in the seafood sector, while others can be seen on a wide variety of food and drink products. Likewise, some of the standards are international, and some found only in the UK.
