Training programmes

We have developed a range of training programmes, many of which lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

Training programmes in food safety, health & safety, fish frying and customer service skills, cooked seafood quality assessment are available from Seafish and the National Federation of Fish Friers.

Other seafood training programmes available via our network of Seafish approved trainers. Some courses are also available through open learning and eLearning.
Our portfolio of taught courses includes:

  • Fish Frying Skills;
    Customer Service Skills;
  • Food Safety (Level 2)  and Food Hygiene (Introductory, Elementary and Intermediate);
  • Introduction to HACCP;
  • Health and safety (Levels 1 and 2);
  • Filleting and other hand skills;
  • Cooked Seafood Quality Assessment.
