Seafood training academySeafish, along with our other partners, constitute the Seafood Training Academy, recognized as the Champion for the Seafood Network by the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink.Approved training providersYour local approved training provider should be your first point of contact for seafood training. The National Federation of Fish Friers delivers one and three day fish frying courses at their training school in Leeds.

National Occupational Standards in FoodserviceNational Occupational Standards (NOS) describe the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to perform an activity to a recognised competence level. They form the building blocks of nationally recognised qualifications.Seafish e-LearningFood Safety and Seafood Smoking e-learning packages are available online from Seafish. Whether you need a formal qualification in food safety, or simply want to improve your understanding of how to smoke haddock, Seafish e-Learning is for you.
