We have access to sources of foodservice data that we share with industry to help design menus that are tasty, cheap and use responsibly-sourced ingredients.

Crest reports
One of the key data tools is a service provided by the NDP Group called CREST: "Consumer Reports on Eating Share Trends".  This panel survey is scaled up to represent the Great British population and provides quarterly data. It measures purchasing and consumption of meals and snacks and can also compare seafood to meat and poultry.

Marketing e-alerts

Nielsen UK retail market data
We currently produce eight retail reports focusing on different areas of the retail market. Current reports are the Context, Ambient, Smoked, Cod, Prawns, Salmon, Shellfish and Scampi and Langoustine. 

Trade reports
The UK Trade Report gives details of seafood product imports into and exports out of the United Kingdom. Detailed import and export statistics are given by country, species and presentation for the current month and the year-to-date, showing both quantity and value.

We can also provide face-to-face sessions and tailored market research programmes designed to increase sales.
