Responsible Sourcing Guides
These guides are designed to provide fish and seafood buyers with objective information on stock status.
Sourcing sustainable seafood can be a confusing process without up-to-date information and unbiased guidance.
The Responsible Sourcing Guides, produced by Seafish, contain information on issues, stock assessment, conservation measures and management worldwide for the individual stocks for 36 species.
The information was obtained from scientific, industry and governmental sources and appropriate references are given. There is also a short section on the product characteristics of the species, including seasonality.
