Registration of buyers and sellers on Isle of Man

The registration of Buyers and Sellers scheme was launched in February 2011 on the Isle of Man. Initially a voluntary scheme, it will become compulsory from Spring 2011. The aim of the scheme is to ensure consumers know that the fish and shellfish they are buying comes from a traceable source and at the same time support their local fishing industry.
