New Damanaki document on discards

Commissioner Maria Damanaki has produced a non-paper sketching out her thoughts in preparation for a stakeholder hearing on discards to be held in Brussels on 3 May. The document lays out possible changes to the current fisheries policy by highlighting bottom up regionalised initiatives, the various possible technical measures that may restrict discarding, and quota management in mixed fisheries.
