Yellow Card
Due to the extremely hazardous nature of Suspended Wellheads, Kingfisher produce a 6 monthly list of their positons in UK waters, called the Kingfisher Yellow Card.
Suspended wellheads are structures left on the seabed by operators intending to carry out further operations at a future date. In this event, a guide base is left on the seabed to facilitate re-entry. The structure resembles an inverted table, approximately 12ft square, with legs some 12-15ft from the seabed.
The Yellow Card is distributed twice a year in both paper and
electronic formats.
