To improve the safety of fishermen working within close proximity of oil & gas structures, Kingfisher works with the oil & gas industry to ensure fishermen receive the latest information & positions of all surface and subsea structures.

This information is made available free of charge to fishermen and comes in the form of an overlay for the majority of fishing plotters, indicating the location and details of the UK oil and gas infrastructure.

Updates are produced every six months and fishermen may either receive a CD containing the fishing plotter files, or download the their file via the link below. The fishing plotter files include all UK surface and subsea structures such as:

• Platforms
• Manifolds

• Pipelines
• Anchor blocks

• Wellheads
• FPSOs

• Pipeline spans
• Other hazards
