Fishing methods

Seafish has produced a number of publications that describe basic fishing methods.

These cover the classification of fishing gear, gear descriptions, development of fishing gear and fishing terminology. There are details on beam trawl, bottom trawl, pair trawl (demersal), pelagic trawl (single and pair), seine net, purse seine, static gear and dredges.
