Measurement and tonnage inspection
We are authorised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to carry out the official measurement of vessels under 24m LBP.
For vessels of 15m length overall and over, this includes tonnage calculation in accordance with EU Tonnage Regulations (ITC69).
Construction standards
Seafish has its own set of Construction Standards which were developed in close consultation with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), fishing vessel builders and fishing industry representatives.
