Please find below details of the Sector Panel Chair roles and application process:

Sector Panel Chairs - £2,520 pa plus expenses based on a minimum of eight days per year

Seafish is changing and is setting up three Sector Panels (Supply Chain, Importers and Domestic) to shape its future business plan. Membership of the Panels is currently being finalised and Seafish is now looking to recruit Chairs for the three Panels.

The Chair for the Domestic Advisory Panel should have a good knowledge of the UK catching sector and understand the issues influencing long-term profitability and sustainability.

The Chair for the Importers/Processors Advisory Panel should have in-depth knowledge of the issues around the import of seafood into the UK.

The Chair for the Supply Chain/Consumers Advisory Panel will have a thorough knowledge of the consumer barriers to seafood consumption and the role of price, promotion and certification within the consumer decision making process.
