Seafood Fortnight

This year’s Seafood Fortnight runs from 5-21 September.

Events and promotions will take place all around the country encouraging consumers to sample some of the huge variety of species that we have available to us, as well as reminding them of the importance of getting their '2 a week' from sustainable sources.

It's a great opportunity for the whole of the seafood industry, to get your business involved, register here.

We've landed an excellent catch of celebrity chefs to help us this year, Phil Vickery, Nick Nairn, Brian Turner, Mitch Tonks and Rick Stein are contributing delicious new seafood recipes to help increase awareness of how easy it can be for everyone to eat their recommended ‘2 a week’

To celebrate Seafood Fortnight, we've launched a competition to find the best original seafood recipe for kids. If you've concocted something that tickles your kids tastebuds, why not share it with others. Find out more about our recipe competition.

We'll have lots of free prize draws on this website during Seafood Fortnight, so don't forget to come back and try your luck.

We'll keep updating this site as we get nearer to September, so keep watching this space for the latest news.
